Default Power steering fluid help

Hi, I have an Audi Cabriolet V6 2.6 1998. My garage in France has put ATF type A fluid (dexron 11D) in the cars power steering about 18 months ago. It seems to work fine but I read in the handbook that it should have Audi fluid G002000 in it. Will continuing to use the ATF type A do any harm or not? Should I flush it out and change it or leave it alone?

Flush and change it. Audis use a mineral oil-based fluid. Flush it fully and refill with Pentosin CHF11S or the equivalent.
