I've got an A3 1.8 Quattaro, drove it earlier, no problem. However i've just gone to move it off the driveway and when i turn the ignition it wont turn over, no spark, no engine noise nothing. My central locking doesnt work either. But my radio and electric windows work. when i look under the bonnet and turn the ignition there is a high pitched noise coming from the drivers side below the engine. Anyone know what the problem is?

 

Start by checking the battery. The noise you hear may be what drained the battery. The secondary air pump and the auxilary coolant pump are both down there.
