A Question about Part Numbers...
Can anyone help me decifer part numbers a little? I'm looking for part number "8H0 035 225 B" and found the exploded version on vagcat here: http://www.vagcat.com/epc/cat/au/A4C...73/48/3592393/
The vagcat page has the same part number, but the ending letter varies from A all the way through M. I know some of the parts are different, but related. Some of the do exactly the same thing as the next. For instance, I have a B AND a D on my car, but not every car has the B and D. Some use a different combination.
My questions boil down to this...
Are some of the parts interchangeable?
Is there a logical way to make sense of them?
How do I know if I can use a different lettered part in place of my "B"?
If anyone can shed a little light on the subject, I'd really appreciate it.
