Ok. So, I have spotted a good deal on a RNS-E unit and I wanted. Only one problem, It is for an A3 and I have a '03 Audi with the symphony II. That leads me to two questions:
1) Can I modify the current faceplate to fit in my dash?
or
2) Can I purchase the faceplate from Audi, and if so, whats the part number for the faceplate?

So you're looking to fit an A3 into an A4 or viceversa?

There's faceplates like you say but I don't know the part number or where to get it from. I read it about a year ago, someone at other forum did it.

You will need the proper harness for your car as well, the symphony II is just plug and play as long as you get the proper one.
