Quick question: window replacement
Hey Guys,
I walked out to my 2008 Audi A4 this morning and unfortunately saw that someone smashed my front passenger window in.
Long-story short, I immediately went to a local glass repair shop and got the widow replaced. My concern now is whether there are differences in quality of door glass panes.
I noticed after the new window was installed that it's stamped differently than the other three windows on the vehicle. I'm aware that in theory, car glass is all the same. I just figured if there's anyone who would tell me if that's not entirely true, it'd be you guys.
Basically here are the two things I noticed that are different:
1) The window does not have an Audi stamp in the bottom corner. It instead has an alternate logo.
2) The window has an "E2" stamp as opposed to the "E1" stamp on the other three.
Thanks for all your help guys!
