Where do I get race gas? I have a 01.5 S4 with just a exhaust system. What kind should I get and how much should I used? I want something above 100 octane (76) ive already put that in. Im in southern california. thanks.

 

Well, if you don't want to run pure race gas, there are additives that will boost your octane to around 100. You can purchased these at alot of auto stores.(ex. Advanced Auto). But if you really want to run pure high octane gas, alot of private airports will sell it to you.


BTW- why are you running race gas anyway?

 

reed this article it is cool. i have used toluene seems to do something. i have a older 2.8 i dont get to much performance from using it but it does cleen out the injectors and stuff. here is the link

also i dont know if your ecu will adapt to get the most out of this "gas". you should look into a chip with the race program.

 

I dont think its race gas cause its sold at a pump. I just thought the high octane gas was called race gas. (oopps) but im looking for somewhere to order gas thats higher then 100 only if its safe to use in my car. thanks
