Hi Guys

I need some help with this problem please.

My radiator fans wont come on in my A3 2.0 TDI BKD 2006 model.

I have checked the fuses in the fusebox and the slot marked F8 is the fan fuse I believe which was a 15 amp fuse, the fuse is fine, I have connected power directly form the battery to the fan loom wire plug at bottom of the radiator and both fans start working.
I don't understand why the fans won't come on with this car, the temperature gauge is at 12 noon.
I cannot found fan switch which is normally located on the radiator or locate the fan relay! can some one point me in the right direction please.
