I found someone had a similar problem on another forum, but there was no solution.
Hello all,
My darling sister in law managed to get the buckle on the rear passenger seat belt to retract back through the slot where the reel is, under all the plastic covers.
I have tried hooking it out, using a magnet, and dis-assembling all the trim in the boot, but the inertia reel appears to be in a sealed off compartment. I thought about taking the trim off directly over the reel (the bit with the slot in) but as I don't know how it is held in, a firm pull was not enough to free it.
Can someone tell me how to access the reel area and retrieve my buckle?
