Default Recommended Tranny service intervals?

What's the recommended oil service intervals for the tiptonic a4 trannies? when do i change the oil filter in the tranny. Don't wanna end up changing a whole tranny. also, can i use aftermarket oils? or do i have to stick with oem?? Lastly, do after market tranny cooler kits work? my oem tranny cooler in the radiator was damaged in a collision.

tiptronic/automatic generally 100k miles, dexron III or better please give more details of your engine/age of car, you would get gears at all if the radiator cooler was damaged/leaking so leave well alone, change the filter and fluid and don't bother with the tranny seal its rubber and can be used many times

so not ready yet by a long way, but in your circumstances I would be checking flow resistance because of the accident "change the radiator" and you might as well do a service as well, puts your mind at rest

actually, i have changed the radiator, replaced it with a rebuilt one, locally- I reside in trinidad and Tobago. The tranny cooler is aftermarket but installed oem style in the rad. The only prob though is that when the car does reach normal operating temp- half on temp gauge, and in a hot tropical country, you hear a singing noise from the tranny. My guess is the tranny cooler ain't functioning well. This is why i was asking about the aftermarket external air cooled tranny coolers. BTW, we have alot of audis down here, and not enough parts. someone can make alotta money here. most people are forced to buy oem from the single dealer. a new rad is like TT$10,000, about US$2,000. a single upper control arm for an A4 is like US$700.00.

fluid volume from the tranny to the radiator is the main question, larger is better than smaller and an extra cooler if you cant get an oem part "regardless of size is going to help" the transmission sorts the feed electronically so as long as there is enough fluid there it should be ok, a smaller cooler does the opposite and looses its viscosity
