Default Replacing brake drums etc ...

Hi everyone
My friend attempted to change the rear brake drums and pads on his 2000 A4 1.9tdi, only to find the bolt which holds the caliper on to the carrier has seized on and won't budge. The bolt itself seems to be worn around the edges and although it would be able to be removed with the help of a little heat, we reckon it won't be reusable when reattaching the caliper. We were wondering if anyone knew the exact size of the bolt needed and if we would NEED to order it from an Audi dealer or whether we could purchase it from an independant hardware dealer?
Thanks in advance, Kerry

8mm allen... most techs buy the stubby or cut the long one down.

fyi... if your car has calipers.... they DON'T have drums... they have rotors.
