?s on Reflash on Audi 2001 A6 and ABS light
I have a 2001 A6 2.7T Quattro with about 125,000 miles on it. The check engine light has been on and the shop is telling me that the code is from the catalytic converters and that there might be a reflash that I can get done for the computer. When I called the Audi dealer, they sort of gave me the brush off about whether that is available. Does anybody know about this? It seems like getting the converters replaced is going to cost a pretty penny.
I also have a flashing ABS light and my mechanic told me that I should have the controller taken out and rebuilt to fix that issue. Any thoughts on that?
I just want to get the car fixed so that I can sell it, but the check engine light is on which is causing it to not pass inspection .
Thanks in advance for anybody's thoughts...

Yes there is a re-flash for every engine except the 3.0L engine for cat converter codes.
Its a TSB, (technical service bulletin) don't talk to the guys at the front desk, they don't have a clue.
Yes you probably need a new ABS control module for a flashing ABS light on an A6.
