Im hoping for a little advice - Im a bit stuck!
The N/S headlight on my S3 stopped working, so off I went to Audi to have the xenon bulb replaced at a rather steep £140, only to be told the ignitor is faulty so I have to replace the whole unit - £650!! []
Im not particularly keen on xenon lights anyway so I was wondering if I can swap the unit for one from an A3? Much cheaper initally and to maintain.
Do they fit? Im struggling to find details of the dimensions etc... could anyone help??

Would not advise it, There is alot more invloved the just the light and ecu. These also work off mega high voltage and should not be tampered with.
