Default S4 twin turbo

I am going to get an 2001 s4 with the twin turbos I was just wondering how many psi of boost they are capable of. at an audi performance site i recently say a stage 4 chip that claims they are capable of 20 psi and 400+ hp with exhaust intake and other mods is this claim true can the stock turbos put out that kind of psi

Stock K03's are tapped around 1 bar. Anything more is overspooling them, so they will make a little more power, they are also going to blow.

K04s seam to be ok @ 1.5bar.

That "stg 4" chip, was more then likely a K04 chip. The best K03 cars are around 300whp.

definetly no more than 1 bar roughly 14PSI. my buddys s4 was boosting 16psi but he kept blowing the k03s until he got the k04s

The turbos blow as a result of higher boost but also because the stockcats are very restrictive and are located right after the turbos which heats things up more. If you upgrade the downpipes your turbos will last a lot longer imho.
