Ok I have a B7 A4 2007 quattro 2.0L that supposedly has a bad air pump. The mechanic said were it was and I bought one off ebay but I cannot find the damn thing anywhere. Pulled off the wheel liner and bumper traced lines etc but gave up after 5 hours. Looked online at tons of Vws and older a4s and v6 a4s etc but none of my model. Please could an expert please tell me where it is even if I have one.

It's in the bottom of the air filter box under the air filter.
