Default Shifting at high Rpms ...Problem!

Hey guys i just bought my first 2003 audi a4 1.8t and when i brought it home i noticed when i would take it up to high rpms and then shift, the car would bog down for a second or 2 then it would be fine but it does that through all the gears. I have no problems unless the pedal is all the way to the floor and i shift at higher rpms. I thought it was turbo lag but that seems to be far fetched. Any ideas or what i should do ?
Thanks Lee

Sometimes when the spark plugs start to get worn, they're likely to foul out at wot and high rpm. If they're fairly new, check out the coil packs. This could be caused by another issue, but it would be a good idea to start from there.
