I would like to add a sirius satellite radio to my audi a4 (2006). I was told by the dealer that I had to buy a complete $600 radio kit... does anyone know of anything in aftermarket that I can buy for less to add sirius to my radio?

i know if you change out the head unit to a sirius ready head unit then u can buy a sirius tuner for 100. thats all i can help you with now, i'm in the middle of doing that

 

Yeah there is plenty of stuff you can buy. Unless you swap out the radio it is all fm modulated though. The coolest of which is the Sirius Starbase very tiny can be mounterd wherever you have space for because unlike the rest of them it is a direct connection to the antenna on your radio as opposed to the others modulate thru the air.
