Default Smoke smoke smoke

Hello people. It was a hot day in July. I wanted/needed a car and my dad had heard a good word on an auction. He took me and I found the one I was taking home. 2005 Audi A4 Cabriolet 1.8T. It looked like a bad boy to me. It even had 74,867 written in the windshield. I signed the papers and took it home. I paid $2,700. It didn't really have much of a pull on the ride back home. Coming home looking at the papers, I saw miles was 199,xxx and I flipped. The 74k number was inventory number. So I took it for a spin to show it off and I see so much smoke coming from behind my car. It was from the exhaust pipe. Apparently my friends said it must be your turbo. I'm not a car guy at all. I want this car running. I'm thinking I should just replace the engine from one online. My neighbor had one of those mini computers and it threw out these following codes:

P0011

P0171

P0299

P0340

P0302

P0007

My car doesn't have a pull when I accelerate it and when I start it, it starts smoking, mostly from the left pipe and it starts getting into heavy smoke. HELPP.

Yep.. It does sound as if the turbo has blown and oil seal and is shooting oil in to the intake system. Being these cars don't run too well on 2-cycle fuel mix, it will smoke like freight train and the power of of pedal car. If it's blowing THAT much smoke, you need to check the oil and make sure it's not low. Removing and rebuilding a turbo is not that difficult though. You might try getting a rebuilt turbo or have the one on the car rebuilt. But first, I'd run a compression check on all the cylinders and make sure they have good compression. That will also help determine if there might be any problems with the head or piston rings.
