Default some dumbasses we have here

i dont know if u seen it but on audiworld someone tried to polish their intake and exhaust headers by attaching a sandbag to intake and running the engine..... of course it is BS but some of the dumb f**ks on AW though it was for real.

also about a dumbass on a rex. read this on their forum last week. this guy was coming back from a concert on highway and a riced out civic tries to race him. so he races the civic in 4th gear. his engine makes a "strange noise and stops making power". So he comes home, opens the hood and sees oil everywhere and decides to take care of it tomm. next day he wakes up and turns his engine on and the engine is running roughly and there is a "metal hitting metal sound coming from then engine". so it appears that he was running 18psi on STOCK turbo without any system to support such high boost for the stock turbo. so he drives to a dearship and they tell him he has to change his engine cause he blew a cylinder (#1 if you care), but he cant get warranty coverage cause the car is modded. so he goes home, takes everything off and goes to a diff subaru dealer and the dealer agrees to fix it. so that idiot posts all that as soon as he gets home and someone from the forum notified SoA and the dealrships in that area so now he has to buy a new block. its a sad think nothing else broke down or something didnt explode, this would make a great darwinism case.

Shorter turbo life, but thats about it. Actually in some cases it fixes problems.

There are preventative measures that can be taken too. Like upgraded Diverter Valve, and spark plugs for some chips.
