Just wondering weather anyone out there has had this issue with their 88' to 91' Audi 90 or 80 models my A/C used to work properly until 6yrs ago when it just started cycling the compressor on and off continuously and would have water from the evaporator developing underneath the car. I tried to hook up a set of A/C gauges but could only tap into the low side due to a stripped out high side cap. My guess is that it could be low on R-12 but the thing is that the A/C compressor seems to cycle in relation to outside temp, also my car has manual climate control . Summer's coming and I dont want to be in a HOTBOX!
