Heat Issue No heat, and lower coolant temp.
I have searched and it appears the issue could be thermostat or blend door flap.
Issues are no heat at all. Using vag com i can tell that the coolant temperature is at 80 degrees Celsius rather than the specified 90. Blower motor works great, climate control seams to operate properly. Did a heater core flush, all gunk is out. Heater core pipes are getting hot as asking for heat.
Is this the blend door flap or the air flow flap between the heater and air conditioner motor? has anyone replaced this, and if so do they have a DIY?
Thanks a lot for your help.

mine wasnt getting any heat after aux. coolant pump install. You might have air in the system and youll need to bleed out the air.
theirs two rubber hoses covered by a black plastic sleeve that lead into the firewall between the battery and the ecu. One of the hoses has a little pin hole on top, slide back the clamp, then slide back the hose (like your removing it) and stop when the hole meets the end of the pipes. Air and collant should come out of the hole. wait til no more air comes out, just coolant.
Make sure car is cold, Run the car with the heat on max while doing it. Hope it works for you too.

Update:
Heat Servo is working to open and close the door.
Attempted to get all or any air bubbles out of the system at both bleed locations (behind the drivers diverter valve and at the left hose entering the heater core). There is still air in the heater core as there is no fluid flowing to or from it. Guessing there is not enough pressure to get the flow into it.
What is the best way to get this air out to see if this solves the problem or if there is some other issues?
Might there be a bad thermostat or water pump not functioning (40K since last TB, water pump thermostat install)?
