Hello... I just got a 2006 A4 Avant and want to lower it 1" with springs only.... I'm trying to figure out what the stock spring rates are so I can choose an aftermarket spring that isn't too rigid. I want to decrease the body roll without doing the full suspension upgrade and have been asking around about how low I can go without changing out everything else... the consensus seems to be 1" lower will still work with the stock shocks and will not need a camber kit / sway bars, ect.... Anyone have any ideas on what springs to go with for my use? I'm also thinking about changing the 17's to 18 X 8.5.. Thanks for any help!
