I recently changed the gearbox on my Audi a4 1998 sti and managed to trap one of the wires to the starter motor solinoid (the red one) in the top of the gearbox. This shorter out when I tried to start it. I have repaired the damaged wire but the car still won't start. Is there anything else I might have shorter out? I've had a look at the central electrics under the steering wheel and can't see anything obviously wrong. Hope you can help.
