My wife and I bought a 03 Allroad w/about 75000mi. about a month ago. Seems like maybe this was a really bad idea. Its looking like I get to put a new torque converter in it already. I'm getting really shitty mileage and the usual 741 engine code. Does anyone know of all the things I should be looking at before spending like the next 20 hrs putting in a friggin converter. I finally figured out how to check the tranny fluid(its really handy to put the plug on top a zillion degree cat converter) it was full and didnt smell burnt at all. I also looked at the mass airflow sensor which a few people said if they get oily they can cause this problem. Please send help or any other ideas that I should be looking at before I attempt this ridiculous project. Thanks
