My new 2021 A6 premium plus with the virtual cockpit displays in the center cockpit screen "Traffic light information currently unavailable", or it displays a picture of a typical traffic light with 3 vertical lights, but all gray. I asked the dealer why this did not seem to be functioning and was told this option is only available with the head up display, which my car does not have. I could not get an answer about why I am getting these messages about options this car does not have. Is the dealer's explanation accurate? Does anyone have this feature without head up display? Is traffic light/signs only bundled with head up display? If so why am I getting these screen messages and can they be turned off. I've never seen messages in any other car reminding you of options you do not have.
