OK, I have an issue. I have a 2002 A4 quattro avant 1.8T with the 5spd tiptronic and 58000 miles. codes came up and said I needed a TCM, so I had my mechanic replaced it (over a thousand later). It still goes into limp mode with the PRND lighting up. The new codes are P7060/17090 (transmission range sensor). Mechanic thinks it is likely that I need a new Transmission. Has anyone had this problem and did it require a new tranny? HELP!

Yah! I fixed it. Tranny range switch. Done no more codes
