I have a 91 200 20V TQ with 90K on it. The transmission is beginning to whine in all gears - speed dependent, not gear dependent. I'm told this is not an uncommon pinion bearing problem. Fixable but...

I have found a 6 speed from a '91 S4. Will these interchange? Or, do I need to go the rebuild route?
