leaking gear box oil, from front of car, not sure which part any ideas????

 

Are you sure it's transmission fluid? It's common for the 1.8T's to have the PCV Breather Hose to melt and rupture, thus causing oil to spew all over the engine bay and drip down. This hose is underneath the intake manifold and you can see it b/w the intake hoses. It should be black and is an "L" shape. Part # is 058 103 213. I thought I also had a transmission fluid leak but the root cause was this breather hose.
