I have a 1997 A4 1.8t with a K04, automatic 5 spd tranny. The problem is when travelling at 60 and accellerating hard, the transmission cuts out at about 80 mph. I can gradually pick up speed with a fine, slow accelleration and go above 80. Also, going downhill it will accellerate fine, uphill is a pain, more prone to cut out the steeper the incline. I have flushed and replaced the tranny filter and properly replaced the fluid. Any help would be appreciated.
