I bought a 2000 Audi a6 avant with automatic tranny, 147k miles 2.7l engine, that I am having electrical issues with the climate control unit and various other things that are popping up and I don't know how to even begin fixing it. Anyways my neighbor is selling a 2003 a6 Avant Quattro automatic tranny as well, which I believe is the same engine size a 2.7L. I am wondering will my transmission swap over to this car where this is the only issue it is having then I can keep my other car for parts or part out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Or how do I find out if the transmissions are a match. Thanks~~ Sorry if I didn't post enough info new to this stuff so if you need more let me know what I can get so I can educate myself.
