Default Turn Signal Issue Please Help!

Hello guys, I am a new Audi owner so I am still trying to learn about these cars as I really love mine. I have a 2001 Audi A6 Quattro. My turn signals no longer work.

I checked the fuses and they are still good. I use my hazard lights and all of the light bulbs still work. My turn signals just no longer work. At first they would blink at normal speed, but go off after 1-2 seconds. Now they do not come on at all. (does not flash on dashboard or lights.)

I was thinking it's the turn signal switch, but I do not know much about these cars. I know this is a great community and would really appreciate your guys help and any tips.

Are they lighting up, but not flashing? Or not lighting up at all? If the hazards still work, I'd venture to say that it could be the turn signal switch, since it seems like your bulbs and relay are fine.

Default Turn signals

When I try to turn on the turn signal both the dashboard and the actual turn signal lights do not light up. So you think it might be the switch?

If your hazards are working perfectly, then I'd say so. My blinkers actually quit on me today too, but hazards are out as well so I'm banking on the relay being bad in my case.

It might just be that the contacts in the switch are dirty or corroded, so you might try cleaning the contacts with some sort of electrical contact cleaner before buying a whole new switch.
