Default Washing Engine

I had a leak in my coolant expansion tank on my 00 A6 that caused coolant to get on the engine block and other parts of the engine. [:@] I have replaced the expansion tank, but now I want to clean the engine. What's the best way to do this, what do I need to worry about protecting?

Default RE: Washing Engine

People seem to recomend spraying it down with simple green and wiping it up with towels.
