Wet stereo
Hi! I own a very nice A3 2.0 FSI 2004 6 vel and today a not very brilliant friend of mine spilled his coke all over the stereo and the climate control. [:@]
At first the screen of the climate control went off but it kept working, after a while the screen worked properly again and it looks like nothing was broken there.
The problem is with the stereo, after the incident the sound disapeared completly, the screen started blinking and the lights in the buttons wouldn't go off not even with the engine off. I bought a can of compressed air (the one used for computers and stuff) and blowed air in every hole I could find...after doing this the lights went off, the screen stoped blinking but it still won't make a sound, besides it got stucked in fm and won't change to CD or Tape.
To make things worse it's weekend and I won't be able to take it to the dealer or any repairing service until Monday and then it'll probably be to late...
Any ideas or suggestions? Has any of you "recovered" from a similar disaster? Or should I start looking for a new stereo? I love my Audi Symphony! I wouldn't want to change ir for an after-market but I think buying a new stereo from an Audi dealer would be incredibly expensive.
Do you thing I should still have the climate control checked even if it returned to normal operating behavior?
Please help me!

RE: Wet stereo
idk if the same fix applies to stereos, but most other electronics i have gottenmdrinks inot have worked fine after drying out. i onced dropped my tv remote into a tall coffee mug, and it got sticky and stopped working, i submerged/washed it it water, then just used ahair dryer to get rid of the water.
