What is an "E-Code" Headlight?
"E-Code" Headlights..what are they? I searched eBay and got what looked like separate projectors that needed to go inside of headlight housings and google turned up stuff for the C5 Corvette, leaving me without a clue as to what these things are.

E-code headlights are the lights that come factory in europe.
I have e-codes on my car. Notice how I have no orange piece on the sides like the American ones???

E-codes also have a different beam pattern than North American headlights. NA headlights don't have a clear "start" and "stop for the beam. Notice how mine cut off a very crisp clear line:

Projector headlights started in 1999.5. Older models have the two piece glass headlights. Also there is a lip on the fender that must be trimmed a little bit to fit one piece projectors. E-codes run about 330 bucks or so. I bought mine from ECSTuning.com
