Default What is this part???

1999 A4, Quattro, 5 Speed, Wagon, 1.8T.

I just did the Timing Belt on my car. As I was putting it back together ended up with this sensor left over. I don't know what it is, or where it goes. I was just hanging below and behind the radiator/bumper. Does anyone know what it is and where it goes. I've spent a long time trying to figure it out. Everything else went pretty smooth.

I'm pretty positive that's the temperature sensor for the external air. It should go in front of the radiator - sitting in the open space between the body and engine bay (radiator).
