Default What are some Good quiet tires?

Sorry if this is the wrong section. I'm a noob.

I'm looking for recomendations for good quiet tires. I'm getting new rims, and would need 215/50/17 moving from the factory 16" (215/55/16) up to 17" nothing too big.

I have some Pzero Pirelli's and they are loud. I guess when you go from the oem tire size to 235/40/18s you have to expect that. Tires are on a A6 Avant (c5).

I just put Michelin Harmony on my car a6 Q c5 and they are very quiet. The tire is not the smoothest ride, but well within an acceptable range. (for me that is)

Check out www.tirerack.com not sure if you already know that site or not, i'm a n00b as well but had some friends point that out to me. it has reviews on a lot of tires that will fit your specific car, i haven't gotten deep into it but thought i'd pass it along.
