CEL on, P0118 code, temp sensor changed and wiring checked. Still CEL on. It's A6 2.7T. I'm out of ideas...maybe change temperatory sensor again or ...? Could it be coming from somewhere totally different place? Broken computer suggests dealer, but its just guess work and expensive one (and if that would be the case then I would expect something else be reporting problems as well). Otherwise car runs just normal, cold, warm, gas consumptions, performance, clean exhaust, everything normal (so why worry? If some other problem comes then I do not know about it). Temp gauge works like it should, no problem on that. May and June CEL was off, but now again on since July. Before May it was pretty much on whole winter when sensor was replaced and wiring checked. Once earlier there was P1296 but that has not been there this year. I heard that someone was able to measure the output from sensor in his car and noted that it had periodic problems (low voltage, P0118 tells high voltage). Maybe moisture in computer. Where it is located, how about wiring pictures, are those available?

Anyone experienced the same problem? What helped?
