what's the point of having this thread section?

Default what's the point of having this thread section?

it seems like this section is useless because I see so many question go unanswer. So what's the point of having it?

there isn't one, really. Most question get answered in the sub-model section, mostly B5 A4, since that is where the majority of old schoolers hang out (and off topic)

That is a good question Mk1. In my personal opinion, there are too many sub-forums that only act to divide the users. For the past few days I have been compiling data on the forum's users and sub-forum use, I will discuss options with the other moderators/admins in the coming week when I finish.

Just as one example…well over half of the 173,243 registered members on AF have zero posts. That is emblematic of another issue (spammers, I currently ban nearly two a day), but I believe the large number of sub-forums limits user engagement.
