I have a 2014 Audi Q5 and am using an old iPhone 3 (for media) attached to the MMI in the glovebox. The glove box cable seems to be always be powered on and I am wondering if the iphone will drain my battery.

If not, no problem but if it does, are there any solutions short of turning the phone off and on each time I enter and exit the car?
