Default window problem

Was wondering if i can get a little help. My Driver Side rear window is not going up. It comes down with the switch but does not go back up. I can hear what i think is the motor moving but the window does not go up. I can lift it by hand and the process continues. Down but not up. I have not taken the door panels off to check it out. Is removing the panels an easy task for a newbee to Audi. I have removed the door panels on my civic, but these are two different cars. Any info would really help. By the way its a 2002 A4 1.8T

Would you happen to have a part number for these clips. Or does it come included with something else that is not needed. How dificult is it to do this repair. keep in mind im a newbee

Here's one way to do it http://www.audiworld.com/tech/int45.shtml.

I did it on my driver window without completely removing the window, but if you follow the instructions in the link you'll get to the point where you say, "Oh, I guess I can just get to it from here and not go to all that trouble."

Good luck if you try it.

go to the dealer for the parts... they are like 25.00 for the set and they are upgrades from the stock set.

you can do itwithout removing the window frame... all you need is a short torx bit... and i suggest you do it that way too... because the window needs to be re aligned if the frame is removed. and if you don't get it right the door won't close properly.
