Default Windscreen Condensation

Hello all
I'm new - just bought an A4 on Monday.
Driving to work today and the windscreen fogged up and I couldn't get it to clear.
What do I do?
I need to know quick, so I can come to work tomorrow...
Thanks guys

Try your wipers. Latly ive been getting fog on the outside. Thats the easist way to get rid of that kind of fog. Im assuming you found the button for defrost and are getting air out the vents near the windsheild. If that fails to clear it changing temp either hotter or colder can reduce the fogging. You may also have a problem with your ac system. When the defrost is on the ac compressor kicks on to dehumidify the air going to the windsheild. Moist air doesnt collect much moisture.

Thanks dankhound
I had tried the windscreen button but maybe I didn't have it on long enough - tried it again and it worked, though not very well. The windscreen still had patches of fog even after half an hour driving. Still it was better than the day before.

have you got the air set to internal recirculation?? that's a common thing when its set like that it should be set to external air
