Drove on bad alternator diodes about a week waiting for new alternator to get shipped. Idol got worse n worse went into protect mode or w.e. wouldnt boost over 4psi n would go in n out. Put new alternator in would die n not start for hours unless pop started. Then idol worse n worse last time it started warmed up about 5min let out clutch never starts again. Replaced pcm ignition switch icm crank n can sensor knock sensor maf sensor tested all electrical with power probe IV all seems fine no cel has spark gets fuel smells bad while cranking. Just cranks n cranks no start. Has compression top timing marks are on. Dnt know wtf it is need my car getting mad. All help n input appreciated. 98 A4 quattro 1.8T AEB
