2007 bmw 525i tilt mirrors, question???

2007 bmw 525i tilt mirrors, question???
i know it's audi forum, but i'am sure some people have BMW's on their driveway or had some experience in the past. My question to those who have, or had BMW 5 series. When i click revers (R) passenger mirror go down but driver side stay still. As long as i know when i bought it, both sides were working fine. Most of people say it should be the way it is, but i can't belive it, if it's true Bimmer got to go, because im sorry but i think its dumb. ???????
i'am very disappointed with bmw, every time something brakes so if anybody thinking getting one don't, belive me u dont wanna spend most of your time in dealership fixing problems. Time is money, dont wast it.
