Have a 96' A4 2.8L. Need to know the best intake, short ram or cold air, to go with. I've used these forums before and tried searching this topic. No dice, at least not for my year and model car. Any suggestions or opinions would be appreciated.

 

CAI is always batter that short ram.

make a ram-air. <$5
remove metal sampling tube in MAF = free
port the throttle body = free

 

The cold air intake fron lltek worked great for my 1999.5 2.8, i would go for that one

 

okay, i have a 1996 A4 12v also and have no luck on performance parts except for finding a new throttle body and a cone style intake
