Default APR exhaust, is it worth 1000?

i have a 1999 1.8t and I'm dead set on the APR chip. and i really like what i read on APR website about their full exhaust but i was wondering if anyone has any opinions about it? is it worth the $1000? The apr exhaust said it would be really quiet and i'm just not that mature yet. i want my car to sound good and loud like the 2009 M5. that would be a cargasm. but not like a 1994 civic. any advice?

in my opinion no, u can get one built for less and u can pick wht mufflers u want to dictate sound level, and quality, like if u want a straight thru race muffler or something quieter, although idk if u r referring to the apr catback or the full turboback with the downpipe, i've heard good reviews on both, also im not sure if u hve a shop tht will build u an exhaust, but there are cheaper full exhausts out there like 42dd or neuspeed, but it may not be the sound for u, just do some reasearch you'll figure it out, but once again thts just my opinion

The APR exhaust are just Billy Boat exhause rebranded, from my knowledge. Check out forum sponsors or ebay and you should probably find one for at least $200-$300 less, if not possibly more.
