Turbo-back means the stock downpipe and cat get tossed in favor of full aftermarket piping. You can have a turbo back system made, and provide a muffler, for far less than the purchase coat of a catback. I'd go that route.

Have you looked at our B7 Cat-back Exhaust?

Here is a link to our website: AWE Tuning B7 A4 Cat-back Exhaust

There is still time to take advantage of our Holiday Special Pricing too.

the downpipe is very important for quick turbo response along with less restrictive cat back, when shopping be aware 304 stainless lasts FOREVER but costs more, it NEVER rusts, a chip or simple download will optomize the exhaust upgrade which is always recommended with it, most chips are similar use a closer dealer, and a independent will install an exhaust cheaper than the stealer

Be sure and consider that you may introduce drone into your cabin and will hate any long highway trips

An exhaust and intake MAY give you 10 to 15 HP...

A software tune may give you 45 to 80 hp and much better torque....

software aka chip tuning is the biggest gains for $$$, most tuners like APR highly recommend a bigger exhaust for best tuning function, my borla cat-back sounds barley louder at idle, but louder but not crazy loud at hard acceleration. most factory exhausts are very restrictive and HEAVY!!! all the auto journalists talk about is quiet, i will have that when i die, i want my car to sound alive and breathe better, just like me!

I have an 08 a4 quattro trip tronic. Which exhaust and intake should I put on it? The market is very limited for the automatic so it is tough. I want an exhaust that you can actually hear and is muscular. A magnaflow wasnt loud enough for me so I dont know which to get. Preferably a turbo back if posssible
