Cat. conv. delete help. 4.2L V8

Default Cat. conv. delete help. 4.2L V8

I have a 2004 Audi S4. 4.2L V8. Any one remove the Catalytic converter from their stock exhaust? And if I do, will my car think theirs something wrong with it?

i also want to do a resonator delete off the stock exhaust. I am wondering if this will be bad. I also want to know if it will sound bad. I want it louder but i want it to still sound nice

and yes i am pretty sure that the engine light will go on. you can get a chip undo this though
