cat delete
Hey guys quick question.
First of all i have a 1999.5 Audi a4 I am buying a cat delete and exhaust for it within the next week. I have been having a check engine light issue that comes on about once a week, and its the same code every time. It say catalyst below threshold. I was told this was because my o2 sensor was bad but come to find out i had it looked at and they said it was fine... So my question is when i put that cat delete and exhaust on will i have a check engine light on all the time? or will it just keep coming on if i cannot figure out the problem with the code that keeps coming up? And yes the cat delete has both ports for the o2 sensors.
INPUT PLEASE and thank you

I have the same car (mine is v6 awd) and have the same code.
I was wandering where you're going to get your cat delete from?
Also, I assuming our cars will still run fine with cat since a change of backpressure?
All cars are different but I had a Subaru and it was fine catless.
Thanks.

Generally that code does relate to 1 of 2 things .. one being a clogged or damaged catalyst in the converter or a bad O2 sensor.
Since you said you have a cat delete straight pipe in I imagine that has to means its one of your sensors, most likely a post-cat sensor.
