Well i recently installed my K&N 57i series for my 2.8L Now im facing a problem, i need to find a fresh source of airflow for both the air temp sensor and the filter. So i wrote up some ideas on a plan. The idea was to get two cold air hoses, one blowing on the sensor, the other on the filter. I also want to build a heat shield to put underneath the filter and sensor. What materials do i need to make a good heat shield i was thinking aluminum but it gets hot easily. Any suggestions (couldnt find the post where to make a home made heat shield) Thanks for the help.
