I was thinkin about getting a new exhaust for my 1.8t and was thinkin of getting straightpipes back to magnaflow mufflers and was wondring if headers would be worth the trouble with that. would that further increase the horsepower? from what i was seein headers were about 75.

 

if you have the 1.8t , you dont really have "headers" you have a turbo manifold... if your planning on keeping the stock turbo a new turbo manifold is not nesessary... a downpipe on the other hand ( part that connects turbo to exhaust) may be worth if for you... a few extra pony's and probably better sound... but ultimately if your looking for power you'll have to upgrade the turbo to ko4 or larger....

 

Ah yea makes sense didnt think of it bein the turbo manifold, probally will just leave it and put a new exhaust on it with magnaflow mufflers since i already seem to have an exhaust leak. thanks your the info man, it helps.
