When I turn on my car it idles rough and turns on the check engine light. I ended up going to Audi dealer for a misfire-code P0300, P0301 and P2279. The dealer said it was the Upper timing cover needs to be replaced it was leaking air and was causing for the car to misfire. I ended up doing the upper timing cover replacement. car runs more smooth then before and no check engine light. But when I got home I plugged up my ob2 reader and then code P2279 shows up but theres no check engine light. what should I look for PLEASEE HELP

spark-plugs and air filter were just changed a week ago and a month ago high fuel pressure pump.

 

Maybe they didn’t clear all the faults after completing the work. Try clearing it and try again in a day or two to see if it comes up again.
